A 40 lb./ream (65 g/m2 ) bleached kraft, coated with a proprietary chemical formulation which prevents silver and palladium from tarnishing by absorbing hydrogen sulfide and other sulfurous gases. (There are no sulfur or reducible sulfur compounds in the chemical formulation. There is a trace amount of reducible sulfur in the bleached kraft paper (less than 1 ppm). Reducible sulfur levels of less than 8 ppm are considered no-ntarnishing as far as sulfur is concerned).
