1、看：仔细观察仪表设备各部件的工作情况，重点观察设备，跑冒滴漏现象，仪表显示窗口。
（1）仪表设备：观察仪表设备各管路有无裂缝、破损、结霜与结露等情况；接头连接处有无泄漏，也可用肥皂水、干净的软布、软纸擦拭管路焊接处与接头连接处，观察有无漏气漏液，以判断是否出现泄漏，对于运转设备是否顺畅。
（2）电气回路：观察仪表设备指示窗口否有指示、报警，观察导线的绝缘是否完整无损，电路板有无断裂，连接处有无松脱，是否有进水及腐蚀现象等损坏情况，以判断电气回路工作情况。
2、听：通电开机关机细听仪表设备运转声音是否正常，有无异常声音、报警声音。
（1）仪表设备：听仪表设备运转声音是否温顺，运转机构是否动作顺畅，仪表设备是否有震动 .。
（2）电气回路：听设备内是否有放电声音及其他异响声音。
